The Sunflower Trilogy

Heartfelt Christian Stories of grief, grace, and second chances.

Welcome to the official website of Linda L. Parham, author of the Sunflower Trilogy. Here you’ll find her faith-filled stories of family, resilience, and everyday miracles. Inspired by her daughters.

About the Author

Linda L. Parham is a Christian fiction author and International Impact Book Awards Author of the Year Finalist in Christian Fiction. Her heartfelt stories celebrate faith, family, hope, and the grace that carries us through life’s changing seasons.

Linda is the author of The Sunflower Trilogy, beginning with Ashes and Sunflowers, followed by Sunflowers Still Bloom and Sunflowers Toward the Light. Through emotionally rich family stories, small-town warmth, gentle humor, and moments of reflection, Linda writes about love, forgiveness, second chances, and finding hope even in life’s most difficult seasons.

Family holds a special place in Linda’s heart and greatly influences her writing. As the mother of two daughters, Amber and Ashley, she draws inspiration from the love, laughter, challenges, and unforgettable moments that make family life so meaningful. Her experiences as the mother of a daughter with special needs have also deepened her compassion and strengthened her desire to advocate for individuals with special needs and their families.

Linda has a deep love for children, animals, and the elderly, and that compassion often finds its way into the people and relationships she creates on the page. Her stories reflect her belief that every person has value, every life has a story, and kindness can make a lasting difference.

At the center of Linda’s life and writing is her Christian faith. Rather than portraying faith as something reserved for perfect moments, she writes about trusting God through grief, uncertainty, change, joy, and everyday life. Her characters may stumble, question, laugh, grieve, and begin again—but hope is never far away.

Being recognized as an Author of the Year Finalist in Christian Fiction by the International Impact Book Awards is a meaningful milestone in Linda’s journey as an author and an encouragement to continue sharing stories that uplift readers and point toward faith, grace, and hope.

Linda believes that even after the hardest storms, love can endure, hope can return, grace can carry us, and sunflowers can still bloom.

The Final book in The Sunflower Trilogy

Sunflowers Toward the Light

The final chapter of The Sunflower Trilogy is coming soon.

The Barnes family has weathered loss, uncovered long-buried truths, and learned that even after the fiercest storms, sunflowers can still bloom. But their story isn’t over yet.

In Sunflowers Toward the Light, Clara, Thomas, Amber, Mary Hope, Ashley, and the people they love step into a season filled with change, unanswered questions, and new beginnings. As Clara continues navigating life with multiple sclerosis, the family discovers that moving forward doesn’t mean leaving the past behind—it means learning how to carry its lessons with grace.

Meanwhile, an old house beyond the willows and secrets tied to Sycamore Hill begin revealing a story that has waited generations to be told. As Mary Hope approaches an important milestone of her own, each member of the family must decide what it truly means to move toward the light.

Filled with faith, family, small-town warmth, gentle humor, mystery, and heartfelt moments, Sunflowers Toward the Light brings The Sunflower Trilogy toward its emotional conclusion—a story about trusting God when the road ahead is uncertain and discovering that sometimes the brightest light appears after we have walked through the shadows.
