My Story
Linda believes some of life’s most meaningful stories are found in ordinary moments—the conversations around the kitchen table, family laughter, unexpected challenges, and the people God places in our lives.
As a wife, mother, sister, daughter, and lifelong animal lover, Linda’s own experiences have shaped the themes she brings to the page. Her daughters, Amber and Ashley, have been especially meaningful influences on her writing and her understanding of love, acceptance, resilience, and family.
Her experiences as a mother have also deepened her compassion for people with special needs and their families. Linda believes every person deserves to be seen, valued, respected, and loved for exactly who God created them to be.
Those beliefs are woven naturally into her stories, where imperfect people face real challenges, discover grace, and find the courage to begin again.

Linda L. Parham is a Christian fiction author whose stories are rooted in faith, family, hope, and the grace of God.
She is the author of The Sunflower Trilogy—Ashes and Sunflowers, Sunflowers Still Bloom, and the forthcoming Sunflowers Toward the Light—and an International Impact Book Awards Author of the Year Finalist in Christian Fiction.
Inspired by family, faith, and the ordinary moments of life, Linda writes stories filled with heartfelt relationships, gentle humor, small-town warmth, grief, forgiveness, second chances, and enduring hope.
Her storytelling is also expanding into Christian fantasy with The Dragons of Kingfire, a series where dragons are given individual missions and purposes by the Most High.
Personal Life
Linda makes her home in rural Virginia, where she and her husband, Kenneth, enjoy life on a cow farm surrounded by the beauty and quiet rhythms of the countryside. It is a life filled with family, animals, changing seasons, and the simple everyday moments Linda treasures most.
Family is at the heart of Linda’s life. She and Kenneth have been married for 30 years and are the proud parents of two daughters, Amber and Ashley. Whether sharing a meal, laughing over an old memory, or simply spending time together, Linda believes some of life’s greatest blessings are found in the ordinary moments we sometimes forget to notice.
Animals are very much part of the family, too. Linda has always had a special place in her heart for them, and life at home would not be complete without the personalities, companionship, and occasional mischief they bring.
When she isn’t writing, Linda enjoys cooking and baking, spending time with her family, being around animals, and appreciating the peaceful beauty of country life. She enjoys the simple comforts of home—a quiet morning, the familiar sounds of the farm, time spent with the people she loves, and those unplanned moments that often become the best memories.
Her Christian faith remains at the center of her life. It shapes the way she sees family, relationships, service, and the stories she chooses to tell. Linda has a particular heart for children, people with special needs, the elderly, and animals, and she believes kindness and compassion can make a meaningful difference in someone’s life.
For Linda, a good life isn’t measured by how busy or impressive it looks. It is found in faith, family, laughter, animals underfoot, a home filled with love, and gratitude for the blessings God places along the way.
